After reviewing the DWService infrastructure and our data retention policy, we continue our focus on security. This time, we encourage you to turn on our 2FA – two-factor authentication – system.
Following the first part of this series describing the security of our infrastructure, let’s now have a look at our data management and our privacy policy.
Whether you are a new user of DWService or you’ve been using it for a while, it is important that you understand our security model. We take it very seriously. Today we are going over the security of our infrastructure.
At DWService, we are continuously looking for ways to enhance your remote desktop experience. Today we are happy to announce a brand new feature : the ability to directly stream audio from your remote machine.
IT experts around the world use DWService. It’s available for free to anyone with a wide range of subscriptions if you need to unlock more bandwidth. DWService finds its place in large or small companies, like Computerisms.
More than 5 million Covid cases have been identified in Brazil since the beginning of the pandemic. In such a situation, it has become urgent to setup the proper measures and the right tools to prevent an even wider spread of the virus. This is all the more true among students who live next to each other on campuses.
We have talked to Diego who works as a User Support Coordinator in the IT department at UNOCHAPECO (Universidade Comunitária da Região de Chapecó)
Are you using DWService on a daily basis ? Did you know you can unlock more bandwidth to make the most of it ? And at the same time, choosing one of our many plans will help us make DWService available to a larger number of people around the world.
At first to fund DWService, we decided to rely on a system of donations. We had a great response from the community. However, we have reached a stage where we now need a regular source of income in order to plan what’s coming ahead of us.
We can now auto-adjust the quality of your remote desktop experience
One of the cool features of DWService is the ability to access the screen of your remote computer directly through a web browser. But as with any remote desktop software, the experience largely depends on the quality of the network itself. If you access a remote machine from a computer outside your house, you may not be aware of the network speed. Also you may be connected to an irregular Wi-FI network, for instance if you are on a train on a 4G connection. So we have developed a tool to help you.
2020 is for sure a special year. As we’ve stated before, with the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise of work from home all over the world, we have seen an increasing number of people using DWService. So we had fun looking at our statistics.
The back to school season has started and for many of us, it also means back to work after a very strange summer break. The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken up our habits but at DWService, we’re trying our best to help you go through this crisis as smoothly as possible.
