As remote working has become the new normal thing to do, remote desktop solutions are getting widely adopted around the world. However, it also means that the number of potential targets increase for hackers. So we decided to strengthen the security of the DWService client.
Traditionally, a software company develops its products and directly sells them to the end users. This is usually done via the editor’s website. And that’s what DWService has been doing those past few years when we introduced our subscriptions. We’ll now work with a merchant of record.
As DWService gains popularity across the world, we have been working hard at expanding our current infrastructure. We have also made sure that our regular users do not feel any impact on their daily use.
At DWService, we want to make our remote desktop solution available to everyone. For this reason, we have opened a brand new comprehensive YouTube channel with many how-tos and step-by-step tutorials.
DWService is strengthening its network and we’re happy to announce the opening of a new node based in Bratislava, Slovakia. As more users join in, we do need to boost the overall performances of our infrastructure.
We have improved our sharing mechanism so that you may now simply send a link while requesting a password to securely access the remote machine that you are sharing.
Over the past few years we have been focusing on improving the remote desktop experience with DWService. However, we understand that it is also important to have the right options in place to better manage your user account. So that’s what we’re introducing today
We are constantly increasing the security of DWService and lately we added an option to add your personal computers as trusted devices. This should make things easier on your side.
